Responsibilities
Dr. Ron Cherry has been working at the Everglades Research and Education Center since 1982. Much of his research has been concerned with soil insect pests of sugarcane such as wireworms and grubs. He also has worked on stink bugs as rice pests. Since 1996, he has worked on turf pests in Florida lawns. He is an acknowledged expert in insect mythology and has been an invited speaker on this topic.
